The coconut blossom sugar is obtained from the nectar of the palms. This is rich in enzymes, acetic acid, natural yeast, amino acids, vitamins and minerals. The coconut blossom sugar is particularly characterized by a lower glycemic value compared to refined household sugar. This means that the blood sugar level rises only slowly and slightly. The well-known high or low sugar level is therefore absent and there is less craving. Accordingly, the sugar substitute is also suitable for diabetics. The coconut blossom sugar does not taste like coconut, contrary to what one might expect. The delicious sugar alternative tastes slightly nutty, like caramel.
